In 1981, The Georgian Terrace closed its doors. On the verge of being torn down, it was designated a historic landmark, and in 1989 was renovated and briefly converted into luxury apartments before resuming its place as one of Atlanta's grand hotels. Returned to its original splendor, The Georgian Terrace successfully blends essentials of the old-south with every modern amenity.
